v0.3.60
Meals, garb and tools made in the Workshop now carry an origin. Buying or receiving goods from another nation incurs the receiving nation’s tariff, and goods cleared once are not charged again within that nation. The buyer pays on the market, buy orders and crafting jobs; the sender pays when sending. Kings and Treasurers set tariffs in the Treasury tab of the Nation screen, and a new rate applies 24 hours later. Goods held before origins existed are old stock and pay no tariff. Customs officers clocked in at every border for the first time.

v0.3.60
The share of stats kept on a class change is now 50–99% instead of 0–99%, so at least half of what you built always stays. It applies from your next class change. The nightmare of 500 STR turning into single digits is over.
-
v0.3.60
Added a Succession traits panel to your Self page. It shows the name, upside and downside, and origin of each trait you hold, and explains why when you have none. You can open it straight from the Character menu, and the succession result now lists inherited, newly gained and lost traits. The family tree finally has a column to write in.
-
v0.3.60
Fixed pressing Travel on the map during auto-hunt only ever repeating “You can set out in Ns.” You now see why, with a “Stop auto-hunt” button, and can set out shortly after stopping. The monsters were not, in fact, clinging to your trouser legs.
-
v0.3.59
You can now install a workbench and a kitchen in your house. The workbench cuts craft time by 10%, and the kitchen adds one craft queue slot. They only apply to crafts the owner starts in the town where the house is. More and more craftsmen swear they work best at home.
-
v0.3.59
National laws, passports, national agendas and citizen proposals, succession permits, house building and enlargement, tenants, guild departures and Master handovers, partings and prison sentences now show up in What happened and the news ticker. House news is now under the Life tab. Every Esoruh reporter has bought one more notebook.
-
v0.3.59
Succession now passes on traits. Most traits of the previous generation carry over, the permit issuer’s traits may pass on too, and sometimes a new trait appears. Each trait brings an upside and a downside to max HP/MP, crafting, meals or the garden. The succession screen shows which traits can appear and their chances. “Skill runs in the family” is now an actual game rule.
-
v0.3.59
The Workshop now has its own door among the town facilities. If you can craft something with the materials in your bag, your to-do list and your bag will tell you. The Workshop owner has finally hung up a sign.
-
v0.3.59
News from the Workshop, crafting orders, player shops, nation orders, meal handouts, crafting fee aid, town workshops, total check-ins, Word Chain and public works now shows up in the news ticker too. The first item ever crafted in Esoruh stays in the Esoruh news for good. The newsroom now goes home a little later.
-
v0.3.59
Added Town workshops to the Treasury tab of the Nation screen. When the king and the Treasurer build one with treasury gold in a town in your own territory, crafting your citizens start in that town takes 10% less time. The treasury pays the usage fee. Word is going around among craftsmen that it might be time to move to that town.
-
v0.3.59
Added Crafting fee aid to the Treasury tab of the Nation screen. When the king and the Treasurer set a recipe and an aid rate, citizens get part of the fee back from the treasury as soon as their own Workshop crafting finishes. Recipes with aid are marked in the Workshop. The nation now answers a craftsman's sweat with gold.
-
v0.3.59
Pressing buttons on the cloud hunt screen no longer reloads the page, so the chat stays connected. Feel free to finish what you were saying.
-
v0.3.59
Added Nation orders and the Nation storehouse to the Treasury tab of the Nation screen. The king and the Treasurer can order meals with treasury gold, and anyone can deliver them on the Nation orders tab of Crafting Orders to get gold. With the meal handout on, citizens can receive one meal a day and eat it right away. Nation orders and grants now share the daily limit. Even kings go grocery shopping now.
-
v0.3.59
The birthplace selected by default on the character creation screen is back to no nation. You can pick the no-nation "Starting point" even when there are no unclaimed towns. Fixed an issue where, after the starting point became a nation's territory, new characters started as citizens of that nation unless something else was picked. No more waking up to find you already have a nationality.
-
v0.3.59
On Citizen cards, if hunting kept going after the browser went to the background and stopped later, the reason now shows "connection lost while hunting" instead of "hunting stopped with the browser in the background". Auto-hunt stop alerts follow the same rule. Wrongly accused browsers have had their names cleared.
-
v0.3.59
Added Finances to the Treasury tab of the Nation screen. You can see treasury income and spending over the last 7 days by type, such as tax, donations and grants, along with the prices of meals traded on the market. Nobody can pretend not to know where the treasury went anymore.
-
v0.3.59
Buy orders can now be filled in parts by several sellers. Sellers can sell just the amount they want, and buyers can set a daily limit to receive that many each day. If what you buy does not fit in your bag, it goes to storage, so a full bag no longer stops a sale. The market broker bought an extra pen, saying the ledger has grown longer.
-
v0.3.59
Player shops have opened on the market. Name your shop and add an intro, and your listings and buy orders are gathered in one place where others can buy or sell right away. Click a name on the market or an ID card to visit that player's shop. Rumour has it some merchants are already arguing over whose sign is bigger.
-
v0.3.59
Fixed buy order prices on the market splitting into one character per line on phones when the Sell button was locked.
-
v0.3.58
Crafting Orders have come to town. Leave materials and gold and post an order, and another player will accept it and craft it for you; finished items arrive in your storage. Accept someone else's order to craft it in your own Workshop queue and earn a commission for every item finished. The kitchen cat tried to offer a fish as its commission, then walked off on hearing that commissions are paid in gold only.
-
v0.3.58
Sewing and Tools are now open at the Workshop. Sewn garb raises your max focus, and the Iron Pot, Iron Needle, Hammer and Hoe shorten cooking, sewing or toolmaking time, or how long garden crops take to grow. Equip them from your bag; when their durability wears down, the Forge can repair them. The blacksmith spent a good while telling a customer with a brand-new hammer that his own was better.
-
v0.3.58
A Workshop has opened in town. Mix fish with garden crops to make Fish Porridge, Braised Carp and Potato, and Hagfish Stuffed Pumpkin. Crafting takes time, so put it in the queue and press Collect when it is done. Eating a meal fills you up and speeds up crafting, and as your crafting skill grows, higher recipes and more queue slots open. The kitchen cat, evicted from its spot by the stove, has moved under the workbench.
-
v0.3.58
The permit lineage panel has been removed from citizen cards. Family history now lives in your heart.
-
v0.3.58
A new Auto-eat picker sits under your bag. Choose one meal and, while hunting, you will eat one whenever no meal effect is active. Locked meals are left alone, and hunting keeps going even when you run out. The innkeeper saw a guest stacking thirty bowls of barley rice and quietly set out an extra spoon.
-
v0.3.57
Three new check-in titles: reach 100, 200 and 365 check-in days in total to earn “100-Day Regular”, “200-Day Regular” and “365-Day Regular”. Missing a day never lowers your total. Showing up is a skill too.
-
v0.3.57
You can now like posts in the Council. Each account can like a post once, and pressing it again removes the like. You cannot like your own posts. No rewards, just a little pride for the author.
-
v0.3.57
Citizen cards now show a Lineage panel with every generation’s name and whose permit was used to succeed, from the first generation to now. Your family tree finally has a place to hang.
